Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi has been ruling the headlines for the past few days. After 10 long years, he was acquitted by a special CBI Court due to lack of evidence. The actor has been going to religious places to seek blessings of the almighty ever since the verdict was pronounced. Days after visiting Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, the actor on wednesday visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi.

Sooraj took to his official social media handle to share pictures from his visit. The actor can be seen taking the blessings as he stands outside the holy place in a blue t-shirt and denims. He posted the pictures on his Instagram with a folded hand emoji in his caption. His friends and fans were quick to take to the comment section of his post to shower him with well wishes and love. The 32-year-old actor, in his official statement had expressed how he won his dignity and confidence back after “10 long painful years and sleepless nights.” He added, “I hope and pray to God that nobody goes through what I have gone through at such a young age, I don’t know who will give me these 10 years of my life back to me, but I am glad that this has finally come to an end not only for me but specially for my family. For the unversed, Jiah Khan was found dead at her residence in Juhu in 2013 at the age of 25. She had left behind a six page letter in which she had explained how she was leading an unhappy life with Sooraj. Son to actors Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi, he was then taken into custody for a week after her suicide. While he was released on bail shortly after, the Bombay High Court had asked the CBI to thoroughly investigate her death.

Raised in London, Jiah has moved to India to pursue a career in Bollywood. She had made a name for herself by starring in critically acclaimed movies like Nishabd, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan’s Ghajini and Sajid Khan’s comedy caper Housefull.
